Toshiba AT200 Tablet Review and Specs - Toshiba was released their new product, named Toshiba AT200 tablet. This 10.1 inch tablet could be the lightest 10.1 inch tablet. The tablet looks pretty with its strip of black running along the tablet’s flat 7.7mm edges, very elegant when it reaches the ports on the tablet’s flank. Those ports are including micro-USB, microSD and Micro HDMI. The black strip binding the AT200 edges almost hides the ‘on’ button, volume controls, and orientation clock. There’s no give or flex in the casing, and the brushed aluminum back adds a shiver class to the proceedings.
The Toshiba AT200 Tablet was running a build of Android 3.2. The 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor and 1 GB of RAM are inside and help the performances. There are some surprises about this tablet: the 10.1 in 1,280 x 800 screen seemed bright and cool, the 5-megapixel camera is adorn the front-facing, also the 2 megapixel is on the rear-facing. The AT200 also equipped with 3D accelerometer, gyrometer, electronic compass and GPS, and the wireless networking is includes single-band 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 and optional 3G.
Toshiba never consider about the battery exactly. With the screen set to 60cd/m2 the Toshiba AT200 manages eight hours of video playback or eight hours of usage divided into 65% web browsing over Wi-Fi, 10% video playback and 25% left on standby. It’s not perfectly good I think. And remember, that Toshiba AT200 Tablet can’t be charged via the USB connection, only via the docking connector on the underside. The 16 GB and 32 GB models will be the first to market later this year, with the 64 GB and 3G versions following as soon as possible.
