How to Connect iPad to Your TV Using Apple TV and AirPlay –  Today I’m going to show You how to use a really unique features that coming in iOS 5. What it does is allow you to mirror you iPad 2 through your Apple TV using AirPlay onto your big screen TV. Lets see how it works.
To start, double click the home button. We’ll see our app switcher menu pop up. Just scroll over and you will see the AirPlay icon. Tap on the AirPlay icon and you gonna have two options, iPad and Apple TV. Tap on Apple TV and the turn on “Mirroring”.
Now whatever you do on your iPad will also show up in near real time, there’s a little bit leak on your TV through Apple TV. To turn it off, just double click on the home button, scroll over the Apps switcher and go back to the AirPlay icon and just tap on “iPad”. So that is the easiest way how to connect ipad to your tv.
