BlackBerry might be having a hard time, but that hasn’t stopped it announcing two new phones, the BlackBerry Torch 9860 and the BlackBerry Torch 9810. Both new BlackBerry handsets release dates have been pencilled in for August but here’s a hands-on look.
Let’s Start with the fully touch screen Blackberry Torch 9860. This handset look set to replace the Blackberry Storm. It has 3.7-inch screen with the largest resolution ever on the Blackberry. And the brand new liquid graphics will improves menu. On-board there is 1.2Ghz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with ability to record 720p HD video and 4GB on-board memory.
The Torch 9810 is the updated version of the familiar torch. It comes with 3.2-inch screen and the much love Blackberry keyboard. It also comes with 1.2Ghz processor, a 5-megapixel camera plus Wi-Fi and GPS.
On both device, there’s brand new Blackberry OS 7 installed. The main updates comes in the improvement of Blackberry Messenger Service, facebook 2.0, and a faster browser. Both handsets will be available on August 2011.
